Cordia honours 25 years' service

Congratulations to all recipients who were honoured
Our annual Cordia Long Service Awards took place last month to recognise those members of staff who have delivered 25 years’ service to the city of Glasgow.
On the day, 75 staff members along with their guests were invited to Glasgow’s City Chambers where they were treated to a three-course lunch by their colleagues in Encore.
Following the lunch, each of our guests were presented with a medal and certificate to commemorate their 25 years’ service.
Staff receiving their awards came from across Cordia including home carers, cleaners and school crossing patrollers, totalling 1,875 years serving the people of Glasgow.
Andy Clark, director of services, said: “It is only right that we recognise the hard work and commitment of the people receiving their long service award to the city of Glasgow for the past quarter of a century.
Each individual plays their own important role in the daily lives of Glaswegians.
I hope they each enjoyed what would have been a special day with their fellow recipients and chosen guests.”
