MCR Pathways

Volunteer to become a Mentor within your working day

Cordia and GCC are looking for staff to get involved with an exciting new project that is supporting some of the city’s most vulnerable secondary pupils, the majority of whom are in care. Cordia and GCC are supporting staff to get involved  with MCR Pathways, a charitable organisation that will shortly celebrate its 10th year helping our city’s most in need.
Staff who volunteer to become a pupil mentor – if approved - will be given training and support during standard working time.
Volunteers spend an hour a week with the young person they are mentoring – and give a two year commitment.
Mentoring sessions take place within school hours, and every effort will be made to allocate you a school close to your home, or workplace.

Please register your interest with a Cordia Service Champion and come along to an Information session to hear more.  You have nothing to lose and are not committing yourself to anything at this stage.
